James (Jim) Eret lives in San Diego, California with his wife, Carolyn and his step-son, Logan. He has two grown sons, Darwin and Dylan. He currently works by day as a teacher, and by night as an aspiring poet and accomplished visual artist. His poetry has appeared in chap books, anthologies, and numerous consumer-oriented publications. He was a featured poet at a NAMI National Convention in San Diego. A Vietnam veteran, he has taught writing workshops to mental health consumers and the homeless. He is a veritable fixture of the San Diego poetry scene. |
