David works in a variety of art forms. The dolls are called prehisterics and are made of chicken wire, doll parts, hot glue and crayola crayons.
The poster board peace signs are made from hot glue and crayola crayons.
All the mosaic pieces are made of broken and cut shards of CD’s.
The full body costume is called wormsincorporated.com and is made from a jean jacket, a pair of jeans and old tee-shirts that were wrapped around foam and hand sewn. The costume took three years to make and I worked on it while doing laundry at my parent’s home. Wormsincorporated.com has been shown in New York City at the HAI (Hospital Audiences Incorporated) Gallery and the Esther Klein Gallery in Philadelphia. |
